Chase Alexander- I'm a junior mechanical engineer involved in Young Life and the Austin Stone. I am looking to start a career in the construction industry when I graduate.
Abdul Alqaroot- I am a senior architectural engineering major. I enjoy being involved in community service projects, and I hope that my career in construction engineering help me improve conditions of underserved communities around the world. I am also involved within the UT engineering department, currently the president of the Architectural Engineering Institute (AEI).
Rita Collier- I am a 3rd- year mechanical engineering student and I am involved in Texas Sweethearts and church choir at University United Methodist Church. I am interested in a career in biomechanics and medical devices.
Madeline Edwards- I am a second-year mechanical engineering student. I am from McKinney, Texas and I work at Mud Puppies on the weekends.
Jade Jackson
Katrina Liebsch- I am a fourth-year Mechanical Engineering student. My hometown is Flower Mound, Texas, and I am considering grad school upon graduation in December 2014. My favorite past-time is listening to music and eating ice cream, and I love to workout and go to yoga.
Laura Moreno-Vasquez
Lindsay Morris- I am a first year Masters student in the UT School of Social Work where I am employed as a Graduate Research Assistant. I also volunteer as a Dean's Ambassador as well as a Research Fellow with the Institute on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault. I graduated from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine in 2004 with a dual degree in Psychology and Women's Studies. After finishing college, I relocated to Austin and worked as a bilingual case-worker at various non-profits including: SafePlace, Texas Civil Rights Project, and Caritas. My focus has been on connecting refugees and immigrants to local resources while providing culturally competent services. I am excited to bring my knowledge and experience to our team of talented engineering students.
Rose Schneider- I am a senior civil engineering student graduating this May. After I graduate I will be moving to Houston and working for Baker Hughes. I am involved in Texas Alpha Chi Omega and I enjoy hammocking.
Kerri Shetrone - I am a 3rd-year mechanical engineering student involved in Texas Alpha Phi and I tutor math and physics for incoming freshman.
